Jakob Brashear (Elite Junior Classic)

Georgia Tech picked up its second commitment for 2016 on late Thursday night.

Jakob Brashear, an athlete from Dacula High School, announced on Twitter that he had picked Georgia Tech.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder also claimed early scholarship offers from Air Force, Illinois and Elon, per JacketsOnline.

Brashear has yet to be rated as a recruit by Rivals or 247sports. This past season at Dacula, he ran for a team-high eight touchdowns, while adding 535 yards on 82 yards. On defense, he posted 74 tackles, including six sacks and six tackles for losses.

Georgia Tech’s first commit for 2016 was Xavier Gantt, a running back from Buford High School.
