The official start of fall is just days away, but it is going to be a dry and hot weekend in metro Atlanta.

“It’s just not going to feel like fall just yet,” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Karen Minton said.

Atlanta has seen 84 days of temperatures in the 90s, and that trend is expected to continue.

Temps were 84 degrees in Atlanta, 79 in Blairsville and 86 in Griffin just before 1:35 p.m. By 3 p.m., Atlanta will hit a high of 91 degrees, according to Channel 2.

Temperatures could reach the 90s again Saturday and Sunday.

Planning to head to Music Midtown this weekend? Take sunglasses, hats and bug spray, Minton said.
