Drivers in Atlanta might deal with a little bit of traffic on the last day of spring break as travelers head home and locals head outside to enjoy the warm weather.

It’s 77 degrees and partly cloudy Sunday as the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition is taking over 3.1 miles of Peachtree Street for its Atlanta Streets Alive parade.

Atlanta police said the central route runs from 17th Street to Mitchell Street. The event ends at 6 p.m.

There are a few more trouble spots.

In DeKalb County, four right lanes of I-285 are closed at Buford Highway due to a crash.

Also in DeKalb, a crash on I-285 at the ramp to I-85 northbound in Spaghetti  Junction has a right lane blocked.

A crash is blocking the second right lane of I-85 southbound in DeKalb at Pleasantdale Road.

But at least you don’t have to worry about the weather. The chance of precipitation is just 20 percent,  and will drop to zero about 6 p.m.

Sunday’s temperature could reach 80 degrees by 6 p.m., according to Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Eboni Deon.

Enjoy it while it lasts. Rain should return by about 11 p.m. Sunday evening, bringing as much as an inch-and-a-half to metro Atlanta, Deon said.

Sunday’s pollen count is still high, but at 962 it is much lower than Saturday’s. The pollen count dropped from the extremely high range into the high range for the first time since Wednesday.

A cold front moving in late Sunday is expected to pave the way for a rainy start to the work week. An 80 percent chance of rain is forecast for Monday.
