After a cold start to the day, Sunday evening should be relatively nice and warm, according to Channel 2 Action News.
Temperatures are expected to dip into the 40s overnight, though, setting the stage for gradual warming during the week, meteorologist Brian Monahan said.
Some parts of North Georgia could see strong wind gusts later in the day Sunday, Monahan said.
These are temperatures as of 4:15, a big warm-up compared to yesterday when ATL hit only 61°. I'm tracking warmer temperatures in the coming days, followed by a cold front that will produce storms. The updated timing for that ahead at 6. See you then. pic.twitter.com/SsfXh092Tf

Monday and Tuesday should both be mostly sunny with a low chance of precipitation, Monahan said. Highs should be in the low 70s.
A cold front and storm system moves in Thursday, increasing our chances for rain.
STORMS LATER THIS WEEK: A cold front will move through north Georgia Thursday with showers and storms -- some storms could be strong.

Halloween, meanwhile, is expected to be pleasant, with a forecast high of 78 during the day, a low of 54 at night and no chance of rain.
With the Atlanta Falcons having a bye week and Atlanta United playing out of town, no sports-related traffic problems were expected in the downtown area Sunday.
