Snow flurries spotted in Atlanta, but no school changes planned

Atlanta is adding cameras to school buses to catch drivers who pass the buses as they pick up or drop off children. The violators will be subject to a $300 fine for the first offense.
Morning flurries were reported in northwest Georgia and some spots in metro Atlanta on Tuesday.
Atlanta Public Schools officials said late Tuesday morning they are monitoring the weather.
“No changes are planned at this time,” spokeswoman Jill Strickland said.
Multiple Georgia school districts and government offices announced delays and closings ahead of the snow. None of them, so far, were in the metro area.
