Saturday got off to a chilly start in metro Atlanta, but expect things to get warmer.
“Give it a couple of hours,” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan said Saturday morning. “Plenty of sunshine this weekend.”
Shortly after 8 a.m., the temp was at 41, which represented a drop of about 18 degrees in the past 24 hours, according to Channel 2.
By noon, the temp should rise to 56 on the way to a high of 64.
Rain? “It’s gone,” Monahan said. Saturday should be dry, with no wet stuff in the forecast until later Sunday.
Cold start this morning! Under sunshine, temperatures are in the low 40s and 30s.
