Cool breezes are leaving much to be desired, but “just hang in there another couple of days,” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan said Monday.
Sunshine will be moving in over the next few days. And highs are expected to stay in the 60s through Wednesday, then increase to the upper 70s Thursday, Channel 2 reported.

Early morning rain cleared, but it’s remained a bit cooler on the Eastside where most of the showers popped up, Channel 2 reported.
“You’ll stay a little cooler than we will here in Atlanta,” Channel 2 meteorologist Karen Minton said.
Gray skies lingered through the evening and are expected to return Tuesday, when the high is 66.
STAYING COOL TODAY: Temperatures will be in the 50s across east Georgia by the end of the day with 60s west.

Pollen is in the high range. Although it’s down from the extremely high count of 4,667 particles per cubic meter of air Atlanta saw Wednesday, it’s at 722 Monday, which is bad news for allergy sufferers, according to Atlanta Allergy and Asthma.
Pollen is in the HIGH range again today.
