The light drizzle falling Sunday morning is expected to develop into a rainy day and night.
And the wet weather isn’t expected to let up until Tuesday, Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Jennifer Lopez said.
With the much-needed rain, Atlantans can expect gusty winds and temperatures in the 40s Sunday.
“At time, winds could gust up to 25 miles per hour,” Lopez said.
Temperatures shortly before 4:30 p.m. were 45 degrees in Atlanta, 43 degrees in Blairsville and 45 degrees in Griffin.
