The average high for this time of year is 73, Channel 2 reported. Temps are expected to hit the 80s the rest of the week.

Despite the high temperatures, the wet weather is washing away pollen and providing relief for allergy sufferers.

Wednesday’s pollen count is 110, according to Atlanta Allergy & Asthma.
