Metro Atlanta shouldn’t get enough rain to ruin any outdoor plans. But be prepared, just in case.

Any rain in the metro area will more than likely be patchy and light, according to Channel 2 Action News.

There is a 20 percent chance of rain Saturday, expected to kick in south of Griffin about 2 p.m.

“Most areas will stay dry,” Channel 2 meteorologist Brian Monahan said. “But you’re going to notice more clouds around to start the weekend and some cooler temperatures, too.”

Temperatures were 78 degrees in Atlanta, 70 in Blairsville and 80 in Griffin just after 3 p.m. Friday.

Temps are expected to stay in the 80s until at least 5 p.m. They will drop to the mid-70s by 7 p.m.

Highs are expected to be in the mid-70s Saturday, the upper 70s Sunday, the low 80s Monday and the mid-80s Tuesday.
