Wednesday will feel like a repeat of Tuesday.

Atlanta will start the day with temperatures in the 50s, and the suburbs will drop to the upper 40s, according to Channel 2 Action News.

“And then we’ll be sunny and warm as we head from the morning into the afternoon,” Channel 2 meteorologist Brad Nitz said. “Late in the day, we’ll start to see a few clouds build in.”

Highs will increase to the mid-70s again Wednesday.

“By Thursday, we have a mostly cloudy sky,” a cold front headed into Georgia and limited rain showers, Nitz said.

“Certainly not what we need, but enough to give us about a 20 percent chance of an isolated shower in metro Atlanta on Thursday,” Nitz said.

Areas north of Atlanta are more likely to see showers, while areas south of I-20 are expected to stay dry.

Highs in the 80s will likely return Friday and remain through Sunday.

Temps on Tuesday were 76 degrees in Atlanta, 76 in Blairsville and 77 in Griffin just after 6 p.m.
