A driver identified on YouTube as MrLegolize posted dramatic video Monday showing an out-of-control truck narrowly missing his car on the New Jersey Turnpike.

The driver said in his YouTube post that he was blocked by two trucks on southbound I-95 at Exit 9, the New Brunswick, N.J., exit.

He decided to record the scene while waiting for the road to be cleared.

As he shot a a video of the scene, he heard a noise from behind and turned in time to see a trailer truck hit black ice and slide out of control, hurtling toward him, narrowly missing his car and careening over the center divider.

The accident was one of many in the Northeast on Sunday. Drivers were urged to stay home, and many bridges and roadways were closed to traffic. 
The ice was followed by heavy rain that left some streets under water.
