After a mild weekend, Atlanta finally reached 80-degree weather.

Atlanta reached a high of 81 degrees, the highest it’s been since Oct. 15, Channel 2 Action News reported. The current temperature is 70.

But don’t get too comfortable with the warm weather.

There’s a chance of severe storms northwest of metro Atlanta Tuesday night.

Although Atlanta is expecting less than an inch of rain, areas in far North Georgia could see an inch, Channel 2 reported.

Rain chances are expected to increase from 20 percent Tuesday to 80 percent Wednesday, when temps are projected to drop to the 60s.

Monday’s pollen count of 1,217 particles per cubic meter of air is in the high range, according to Atlanta Allergy and Asthma.

Temps are also forecast to drop again Saturday, this time to the 50s, Channel 2 reported.

“Some models are showing some wet snow possible in the mountains,” Brian Monahan said. “But I'd caution you against all the ‘clickbait’ out there now.”

Until then, Tuesday should see a high of 80 with clear skies through the evening.

But brace yourself for more of that yellow stuff.

Monday’s pollen count of 1,217 particles per cubic meter of air is in the high range, according to Atlanta Allergy and Asthma.

Atlanta saw its highest pollen count of the season so far when levels reached 3,387 Saturday. Last year's season high was 3,559. The 2016 season high was 4,107.

Don't let pollen ruin your spring!
