Surely you’ve heard of it? The warming-water patterns in the Pacific Ocean that walloped us with near-record rainfall last month are expected to push yet more rain across our region. It’s supposed to begin Thursday night, Channel 2 Action News chief meteorologist Glenn Burns said.
A second system is expected Saturday. It should last through the night before dissipating Sunday.
Estimated weekend rain total: about a half-inch. Surely your yard needs it?
Meantime, we’ll have highs in the 50s, lows in the 40s. When the Sunday rain stops, said Burns, cooler temperatures will follow. Expect highs in the 40s next week, with lows in the upper 20s and low 30s.
