Don’t expect to use too many yule logs in the run-up to Christmas, forecasters say.

While low temperatures through the week bottom out in the lower 30s, highs by week’s end will stretch into the upper 60s.

Frigid? Not.

According to the five-day forecast from Severe Weather Team 2, the high temperatures will break into the 50s on Monday and won’t seem to look back.

Highs of 57 and 59 will precede a 66-degree forecast and rain for Friday.

And an expected 69 degrees for Saturday will fall just a few degrees short of the 1984 record high, 72 degrees, for the Winter Solstice on Dec. 21, according to the National Weather Service.
