Weather for the metro area is expected to resemble a broken record, forecasters say.

“More of the same … showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon,” Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Karen Minton said. “Not totally a washout, but you will have to dodge showers now and then.”

A 30-percent chance of rain and thunderstorms is expected for Wednesday with high temperatures predicted to reach the upper 80s, Minton said.

The pattern of intermittent thundershowers is expected to continue through the weekend, forecasters say.
