Here’s a brief look at weather factors for the 60,000-runner event, which begins in Buckhead near Lenox Square and ends at Piedmont Park.

High temperature: 92 degrees.

Low temperature: 75 degrees. The temperature at race time likely will be closer to this figure. Over the past 20 years, the starting temperature for the race has climbed near 80 degrees only once.

Chance of rain: 20 percent. This is down from 40 percent that was forecast earlier. Also, partly cloudy weather is possible. Thunderstorms were in an earlier forecast.

Chance of delay: Slim.

Chance of postponement: Slim. The race has been run in rainy weather before.
