The warm weather in Atlanta could turn wet in the afternoon, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Showers will be moving “north to south as we head through the afternoon,” meteorologist Brian Monahan said. He puts the chance of rain at 40 percent.

The temperature could reach 93 degrees in the afternoon, Monahan said.

Sunday, the high temperature is forecast at 94 degrees, but the rain chance will drop to 30 percent.
