Cumberland Island is Georgia's largest and southernmost barrier island. It's about a five hour drive from Atlanta, near Jacksonville, Florida, and this year Greyfield Inn offers a special camp experience for the entire family.

Island Camp is offered on three-day cycles starting July 17th through 31st, with daily adventure offerings for children age five and up. Arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, beekeeping, kayaking, surfing, kite flying, tie dying and much more. Teens and adults can participate in those activities as well, or choose their own tours or a day lounging on the beach.

Each day, there are three areas of focus: arts & crafts, island exploration, and beach fun.

With this year being the National Park Service's Centennial, Island Camp also offers participants a chance to watch sea turtles nest and explore other natural creatures of the coastal outdoors. The camp will also offer a scavenger hunt where two teams will search for a list of treasures and sites on the Island.

To book an Island Camp adventure call Greyfield Inn's reservation office at 888-241-6408 or visit www.greyfieldinn.com/camp.html. Rates start at $975.00
