The city of Roswell is more than just a north Fulton town. It’s filled with plenty of things to do for residents and visitors that cost absolutely nothing.

The fall fair season continues with the North Georgia State Fair making its annual run in Marietta, so if you’re looking for rides, games or fair food, that’s the place to be. Or visit Decatur’s West Ponce Music Stroll for a fun run, artist market, pop-up fitness classes and more.

The North Georgia Fair returns to Marietta starting this weekend, with plenty of rides, games, exhibits and more.

The Ultimate Sugar Show

Georgia’s largest baking and sweets show features all things sugar — including sugar art competitions and classes. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the AFLAC Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Face coverings are required even if you’ve received a COVID-19 vaccine, temperature checks will be conducted and social distancing will be observed.

VIVA Tequila Festival

West Ponce Music Stroll

The third annual West Ponce Music Stroll starts with a 5K fun run and one-mile dog walk/run and includes popup yoga and fitness classes, an artist market and chalk artists. Proceeds go to Decatur Makers, a non-profit maker space.

Doggy Dip Days

Dogs and their owners can take a dip into Murphey Candler Pool in Brookhaven this weekend.

Dogs and their owners can take a dip in the pool together. Advance online registration is required, and dog owners can only wade in the pool up to their knees. Dogs must be up to date on their required shots and vaccinations.

Sustainable Landscapes
