Friday is Cinco de Mayo, which means margaritas, tacos and good (tequila-fueled) times are in order.

There are many food and drink specials and other celebrations to choose from in Atlanta, but if you’re still undecided, here are some of the best events and deals in town that are happening.

Alma Cocina

This inventive Mexican and Latin fare restaurant, with locations in Buckhead and Downtown, will begin celebrating at 3 p.m. with Strawberry Margarita featured happy hour specials like the salsa trio, guacamole, pork rinds or quesadillas, as well as drink specials.

Botica

Botica is always a party, and Cinco de Mayo is no exception. All day, the Midtown restaurant will offer food and drink specials as well as live music. Attendees are encouraged to celebrate responsibly by ridesharing.

Chido & Padre’s

The party begins at 4 p.m. and continues until late at Chido & Padre’s, which features chef-driven Mexican cuisine, killer margaritas and one of Buckhead’s hottest patios.

Chipotle Mexican Grill

Want to avoid the crowds while still enjoying a delicious Cinco de Mayo meal? Through Friday, Chipotle is offering free delivery on orders placed through its website or app. Through Friday, use the promo code CINCO23 at checkout.

Fiesta de Mayo

Get your fiesta on at Live! at the Battery because they are hosting one of Atlanta’s biggest Cinco de Mayo parties Friday. Drink specials, a live mariachi band, signature drinks and more are available. Bring your ID, as this event is only for those over the age of 21.

HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern

All locations of the favorite neighborhood joint will be serving up music, dancing, and margarita and taco specials all night long.

Spaceman Lounge

Spaceman Lounge and Enemigo Tequila invite you to a Sky View Cinco de Mayo Party. Enjoy Enemigo Cristalino Anejo craft cocktails with empanadas and Cuban sandwiches while enjoying stunning city skyline views. DJ La Bonita will be on hand as you mix and mingle.
