Chicagoland’s premier drive-thru Christmas light show experience is returning to Georgia for the holidays. Shine Light Show is a family-friendly experience taking place at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville, and the lightshow has a lot to offer.

“Timed and ticketed guests are invited to stay in their cars and tune their radio to a designated radio station and immerse themselves into a wonderland of over 1 million synchronized lights!” the show’s website said. “The dazzling show is a leisurely drive through archways & illuminated installations for all ages. Only one ticket per vehicle so bring all your friends & family!”

Drivers, be aware: The event does get busy on holidays and weekends, so anticipate waiting in line for the show. Fast pass users can circumvent all the hassle.

“We work diligently to keep the wait time to a minimum; however, we do experience higher volumes on holidays & weekends,” the website said. “If you would like to save time and money, we recommend visiting Monday – Thursday. You may also purchase a Fast Pass which allows you to jump the line for quicker admission to the show.”

To have the best experience, Shine Light Show suggests driving at 3 mph. Due to the varying numbers of visitors each day, the event provider does not offer an estimate for how long the show will take to drive through.

The event takes place through Jan. 1, 2023. On weekdays, tickets are $32.99 per vehicle. For those looking to visit on the weekend, during the holidays or on select weekdays, tickets are $42.99 per vehicle. The fast pass is available for an additional $20.

Tickets are available online at ShineLightShow.com.
