Rena’s Italian Fishery and Grill to open in Alpharetta and other dining news from the week

The owner of Crust Pizzeria in Alpharetta is opening another restaurant in the city.

Chef Darren Henderson is set to open Rena’s Italian Fishery and Grill at 222 S. Main St. in November, What Now Atlanta first reported. Named for Henderson’s wife, Rena will feature a menu of seafood, meat and pasta dishes. The 10,000 square-foot space will cover two floors, with the top floor serving as a 200-seat banquet area and the bottom floor acting as the main restaurant area.

Middle Eastern restaurant Delbar opened earlier this month at 870 Inman Village Pkwy. NE in the space previously occupied by The Daily Tavern, and Amara, What Now Atlanta reports. Owned by chef Fares Kargar, Delbar serves a variety of dishes with Israeli, Turkish, Iranian and Lebanese influences. Menu items include hummus, meze and meat platters, in addition to a Persian-based beverage program.
