When these boys raise their voices, no matter how high, no one asks them to be quiet. They are the world renowned Atlanta Boy Choir, and you have a chance this weekend to hear them perform.

A tradition for more than 60 years, the choir will present its Christmas concert Friday and Sunday.

“The Christmas Concert is a tradition that not only celebrates the beauty of music but also unites our Atlanta community in the spirit of joy and generosity,” director Robert Henry said in a news release. “It’s an honor to carry forward the choir’s legacy through these performances.”

Proceeds from the concert will support the choir’s mission to inspire more singers and “enrich Atlanta’s cultural fabric,” the news release states.

“This event holds deep cultural significance and highlights the choir’s longstanding presence as a cornerstone of Atlanta’s arts scene,” assistant director Huu Mai added.

It isn’t just Atlanta’s arts scene where they have a presence, however. The choir has performed in Italy, France, Poland, the Czech Republic, Russia and other countries.

The boys’ first holiday performance will be:

7 p.m. Friday at All Saints’ Episcopal Church

634 W Peachtree St. NW, Atlanta 30308

Tickets cost $15 and can be purchased at www.atlantaboychoir.org/shop.

Their second concert will be:

7 p.m. Sunday at Saint Peter and Saint Paul Episcopal Church

1795 Johnson Ferry Road, Marietta 30062

There is a suggested donation of $15 for this performance.
