Not surprisingly, you can count Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak among those who support Apple in its encryption fight with the FBI. "To have Apple make a weak operating system is just wrong," Wozniak said in an interview with Re/Code.

Google's DeepMind chalks up a landmark win for artificial intelligence by beating world champion Lee Sedol in Go — a centuries-old East Asia game known for its strategy and intellectual depth. 

E-commerce giant Amazon.com is breaking ground with Amazon Underground, a different kind of app store, writes Wired.com.

Reviewer Dan Seifert at The Verge calls the new smartphone "the most impressive piece of smartphone hardware I've ever held."
