In my mind the definition of a great gadget is useful and multipurpose. The SP-4003 six-in-one car charger from Secur Products is exactly that.
It plugs into the 12 V (cigarette) outlet and charges tablets, phones or whatever portable USB device needs some power. That isn’t a big deal in today’s gadget world; it has a removable internal 2000 mAh battery, a 150 Lumen LED light that works as a flashlight or a flashing red emergency light.
Numbers five and six are additional safety features: a built-in seat belt cutter and window breaker, obviously for emergencies.
The internal battery powers the flashlight for four hours or 10 hours for the flashing red light.
All of this is packed into a 4.5-inch long device with a diameter of 1.5-inches and weights just 3 ounces.

Klip can help frayed cords
The Tudia Klip is a finger-nail sized clip that reduces the strain on Apple Lightning and 30-pin charging cables.
It attaches to the end of the cable and keeps it from bending, twisting or breaking apart, which results in the cable being useless and your device unable to charge.
The Klip is designed and sized to work specifically with Apple cables, not third party charging cables. I did try it on some and a few worked and some didn’t.
Just snap the two-piece silicone and polycarbonate clip on the ends of the cable to re-duce the strain (by 80 percent according to the company).
If you have a cable already on the outs, the Tudia Klip might just be what you need. Cables already frayed will get much needed support to keep them charging.
