“Within the health care industry, we’ve experienced significant growth in the past 18 months. We look forward to driving even more value for our customers with the addition of Mainspring’s services-oriented platform to further meet the unique needs of healthcare organizations,” Mark Friedman, Accruent’s CEO, said in a written statement.

Founded in 1995, Accruent develops real estate and facilities management software.

The company was based in Santa Monica when it opened an operations center in Austin in 2010. Austin is now its headquarters, and the company has more than 400 employees.

Accruent’s software is used by more than 4,400 organizations worldwide, the company says.

In 2014, Accruent broke into the health care industry with the acquisition of Four Rivers Software Systems, based in Pittsburgh, SiteFM, based in Austin, and VFA Inc., based in Boston.
