Returning for the Bulldogs are QB Jacob Eason, who enters his sophomore season after leading the Bulldogs to an 8-5 record and a Liberty Bowl win over TCU as a freshman. Senior running backs Nick Chubb and Sony Michel lead an experienced backfield.
As a junior, Chubb rushed for 1,130 yards and eight touchdowns and Michel rushed for 840 yards and four touchdowns. Both players had a TD reception in 2016.
