Georgia running back Nick Chubb’s chances to win this year’s Heisman Trophy are 30-to-1, according to Las Vegas odds.

Chubb, a senior, was the third best running back to bet on after Alabama’s Bo Scarbrough (30-to-1) and LSU’s Darrius Guice (25-to-1) who led the SEC in rushing last season.

Chubb rushed for 3,424 yards and 29 touchdowns in three seasons at Georgia. The 5-foot-10, 225 pound running back also received for 331 yards and four touchdowns.

Auburn running back Kamryn Pettway was tied with Chubb at 30-to-1 odds to win the 2017 Heisman.

The best bet for Heisman in the SEC according to Vegas odds is Auburn quarterback Jarrett Stidham at 15-to-1. Stidham was followed by Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts with 20-to-1 odds.

Seven players in the SEC had 100-to-1 chances in winning the Heisman this season including LSU quarterback Danny Etling, Texas A&M wide receiver Christian Kirk, Mississippi State quarterback Nick Fitzgerald, Ole Miss quarterback Shea Patterson, Florida quarterback and Notre Dame transfer Malik Zaire, Alabama defensive lineman Da'Shawn Hand and wide receiver Calvin Ridley.
