What’s on tap for Atlanta United’s players who are out on loan through the weekend?
Forward Hector Villalba and Club Tijuana are off this week. They will play Monterey on Sept. 10.
Midfielder Chris McCann and Conventry City, who are having a horrible start to the season, will play Fleetwood Town at 10 a.m. Saturday. They are 22nd of 24 teams in England's League One with three points from five games.
Goalkeeper Alex Tambakis, midfielder Andrew Carleton and forward Jeffrey Otoo will take on Rochester at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. It can be seen on youtube. Otoo earned playing time on Wednesday. A foul against him led to a goal for the Battery.
Midfielder Junior Burgos and Tampa Bay will take on Indy Eleven at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. It can be seen on ESPN3 and NASL Live. He’s made just eight appearances for the Rowdies this season.
Forward Kenwyne Jones and Central FC are also off this weekend.
