Washington Redskins tight end Niles Paul tweeted on Wednesday he was fined $6,000 by the NFL for wearing the wrong socks during Monday night’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

“I’m convinced [the NFL] really trying to have us out here lookin like a created players on Madden,” Niles wrote.

Paul wore black socks during the game, which breaks the league rule that dictates socks must be white from the top of the shoe to mid-calf.
