Elliott Barzilli hit a home run and No. 1 Virginia (41-19, 21-6) completed a three-game ACC sweep of Georgia Tech with a 3-1 victory on Sunday afternoon in Charlottesville, Va., in Tech’s conference regular-season finale. The Cavaliers won 4-3 on both Friday and Saturday.
With four non-conference games remaining, including a game against rival Georgia at Turner Field on Tuesday night, the Yellow Jackets (29-23, 14-16 in the ACC) will need help to qualify for the league’s postseason baseball tournament.
