Atlanta Hawks rookie John Collins and second-year small forward Taurean Prince received warm welcomes when they were introduced at NBA Rising Stars practice Friday.
A part of 2017 NBA All-Star Weekend, the Rising Stars Game will be played Friday at 9 p.m. ET and can be watched on TNT.
Drafted with the 19th overall selection in the 2017 NBA Draft out of Wake Forest, Collins is averaging 10.2 minutes, seven rebounds, one assist, 0.6 steals and 1.2 blocks. Collins is also shooting 58 percent from the field.
Prince, from Baylor, is averaging 12.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.5 blocks and 0.9 steals in his second season with the Hawks.
