The number of games the Atlanta Hawks have won this season can be counted on one hand and that wears on Kent Bazemore.

During an interview after the Hawks’ 110-90 loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night— their 18th loss of the season— Bazemore was honest about the lack of wins being frustrating, but said the Hawks must continue to learn from their mistakes.

“We put in a ton of work, this is our livelihood,” Bazemore said to Fox Sports. “We wear that Atlanta across our chests with a lot of moxie, I always say. We want to win for this city.

“When you come up short, it wears on you a little, but as soon as I walk out of the gym and go home to my wife and three puppies, I’ll get ready for Orlando.”

The Hawks (5-18) play their next game against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Orlando’s Amway Center.
