Video: Freddie Freeman pounds sunflower seeds before Dodgers game

Before the Atlanta Braves took the field against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday night, Freddie Freeman made sure he was good on sunflower seeds.

Sitting the Braves’ dugout before running onto the field for first pitch, the Braves first baseman poured a sleeve of sunflower seeds into his mouth.

Freeman was 2-for-3 at the plate on Wednesday with one walk and one stolen base in the Braves’ 5-3 win over the Dodgers.

Whether Atlanta’s win over the team with the best record in baseball is due to Freeman’s sunflower seed trick or the Braves’ two two-run home runs, we’ll never know.
