Atlanta Braves pitcher Mike Foltynewicz was one of four Braves to be named to the National League roster for the 2018 All-Star Game on Sunday evening.

Earning his first All-Star honor, Foltynewicz was joined by teammates Nick Markakis, Freddie Freeman and Ozzie Albies.

“It’s a huge honor... The main goal this year was just to be consistent, not trying to make All-Star games, just trying to go out there and win game by game for my team... I’m really speechless,” Foltynewicz said in his postgame interview. “I don’t really know what to say. It’s something pretty big and I can’t wait to go tell my family and see their reaction.”

The 2018 All-Star Game will be on July 17 at Washington D.C.'s Nationals Park.
