We should have seen this coming.

In his first game after being promoted to the New York Mets’ class-A advanced league over the weekend, Tim Tebow hit a two-run home run.

The former Heisman trophy winner hit his fourth home run with the Mets during the second game of a double-header between the St. Lucie Mets and the Palm Beach Cardinals.

The 92 mph pitch from Cardinals right-hander Junior Fernandez was blasted over center field in the bottom of the second inning. After losing the first game 5-2, the Mets lost the second game of Wednesday’s double-header 5-3.
