Three Florida players to represent Georgia in Women’s College World Series

June 5, 2017Florida Gators’ pitcher Kelly Barnhill, utility player Jaimie Hoover and outfielder Jacqui Switzer will represent Georgia in the Women’s College World Series Championship this week.
A sophomore, Barnhill is graduate of Pope High School in Marietta. Hoover, from Suwanee’s Collins Hill High School, and Switzer, from Grayson’s Archer High School both graduated in 2016.
No. 1 Florida defeated Washington on Sunday to advance to the Championship Series and face No. 10 Oklahoma. Oklahoma defeated Oregon on Sunday to advance.
Game 1 in the best of three series is on Monday night at 7 p.m.
Game 2 will be played on Tuesday at 8 p.m. and Game 3 will be played on Wednesday at 8 p.m. if necessary. All games will be broadcast on ESPN.
