The Braves rode the big hit and incredibly strong starting pitching (1.32 ERA for the week), winning two of three against the Mets and two of three against the Marlins. In the Friday shutout of the Mets, Aaron Harang was lifted with a no-hitter after seven innings. Justin Upton’s three-run homer on Saturday saved Craig Kimbrel, who had a shaky outing. The Braves then beat the Marlins twice as Evan Gattis hit a game-winning homer Monday and a two-run pinch-double to win the series clincher.
