Hawks second-round pick Edy Tavares had eight points and 10 rebounds for Herbalife Gran Canaria in a 72-57 win over Rio Natura Monbus Obradoiro in an ACB League game Sunday.

Tavares came off the bench and played 23 minutes in the victory over Gran Canaria (1-1). The 7-foot-3 center is playing the season in the Spain to continue his development.

Gran Canaria next plays FC Barcelona on Oct. 19.
