Tickets will go on sale to the general public Wednesday for Super Bowl Opening Night, the event previously known as Media Day.

The event – to be held in State Farm Arena on Jan. 28, the Monday night before the big game – will be the Super Bowl teams’ first interaction with the media after arriving in Atlanta.

Fans in attendance will be able to see the teams and listen via radios distributed throughout the arena as players and coaches answer questions from thousands of media members, according to the NFL.

Ticket sales will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at NFL.com/OpeningNightOnSale. Tickets cost $29.

“We are very excited to have fans join these players and media from around the world in officially kicking off Super Bowl week,” Peter O’Reilly, NFL senior vice president of events and club business development, said in a statement.

Super Bowl LIII will be played Feb. 3 in Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Ticket sales began last week for Super Bowl Experience, the NFL's massive football theme park that will be held in the Georgia World Congress Center from Jan. 26-Feb. 2.
