Stockbridge defensive end Brenton Cox commits to Ohio State

Stockbridge High School junior Brenton Cox has verbally committed to Ohio State.

Cox, 6-foot-5, 250 pounds, announced his commitment with a statement on Twitter on Tuesday night.

The 4-star defensive end’s statement read in part, “I would like to say that I’m 100 (percent) committed to the Ohio State University.”

Cox, from Stockbridge, Ga., is ranked No. 7 on 247 Sports’ list of top 2018 recruits in Georgia and No. 19 on 2018 ESPN 300.
