Social media reacts: Ohio State suspends coach Urban Meyer for 3 games

Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer was suspended by the university on Wednesday for the first three games of the season for mishandling domestic violence accusations against a former assistant.
Meyer will miss the Buckeyes’ first three games -- against Oregon State, Rutgers, and No. 16 TCU.
A social media outcry followed:
Can’t wait to see how many times Ohio State is still a part of @CollegeGameDay this year 🙄

I’m surprised he was actually suspended. Ohio State does not want to lose a coach who has a winning percentage of 90%.

What would Ohio State fans be saying if Urban was still at Florida and this happened?

How long until Ohio State's recruiting classes start to fall apart? Asking for a friend...

Ohio State has proven how toxic the athletic system truly is, putting athletics above the safety of its student body. 🤷🏻♀️

I, for one, am shocked that when Ohio State was given the responsibility of punishing their own, they were so light. You’re right. NCAAF’s priority list on full display.

Wow...Ohio State only suspended Meyer for the games themselves. He is allowed to direct practice. What a freaking joke. Ohio State should be ashamed of themselves.
