Atlanta United’s Julian Gressel has obtained a Green Card and will no longer occupy an International slot on the MLS team’s roster.

Gressel, a 25-year-old native of Germany, has been one of the team’s most productive players since being selected No. 8 in the 2017 SuperDraft.

The 2017 Rookie of the Year has 11 goals and 25 assists in two-plus seasons.

Atlanta United could now choose to move Anderson Asiedu into an International slot and make him eligible for selection for games.
