Here are a few things to know on Friday:

1. Falcons beat Saints

The Atlanta Falcons scored 10-unanswered points to defeat the New Orleans Saints 20-17 on Thursday night at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. D. Orlando Ledbetter gives out his report card for the game.

2. Sherrer leaving Georgia

Kevin Sherrer will leave Georgia to become the defensive coordinator at Tennessee under Jeremy Pruitt. More on the AJC.com.

3. Georgia Tech quarterback to transfer 

Ken Sugiura reports Georgia Tech quarterback Jay Jones will transfer after two seasons as a Yellow Jacket.
