Here’s five things to know on Thursday:

1. Tebow, Fireflies to play in Augusta

The first of a four-game series between the Columbia Fireflies and the Augusta GreenJackets begins Thursday at 7:05 p.m. from Augusta’s Lake Olmstead Stadium. The Fireflies are 5-2 this season and already played a home series against the GreenJackets in which the Fireflies won all four games.

2. Braves top Marlins, 5-4

The Braves broke a five-game losing streak on Wednesday night against the Miami Marlins. Brandon Phillips scored the winning run of the game in the top of the ninth off a single by Brandon Flowers. Ender Inciarte hit two home runs in the Braves' win, one which tied the score at four in the eighth inning. The Braves' next game will be at SunTrust Park on Friday against the San Diego Padres.

3. Hawks lose to Pacers

In the final game of regular-season against the Indiana Pacers, the Hawks sat five players to avoid injury. The Pacers won 104-86 and clinched a playoff spot. Before last night's game, Mark Bradley asks after 81 games, what do we think of the Hawks? The Hawks will play the first game of playoffs against the Washington Wizards on Sunday at 1 p.m. from Washington, D.C.'s Verizon Center.

4. Opening Day at SunTrust Park

Ahead of Friday's opening day at SunTrust Park, Mark Bradley writes how the Braves' move has forever changed Cobb County. Friday's game against the San Diego Padres will begin at 7:35 p.m.
