Here’s five things to know on Monday morning after a busy weekend of Atlanta sports.
1. Sergio Garcia wins the Masters

2. Hawks defeat Cavs in overtime
After outscoring the Cleveland Cavaliers 44-18 in the fourth-quarter, the Hawks won 126-125 in overtime. Paul Millsap returned to the Hawks' starting lineup on Sunday afternoon after a knee injury kept him sidelined and then playing off the bench for the past few weeks. Chris Vivlamore reports how the Hawks erased a 26-point deficit against the Cavs in the fourth quarter. The Hawks play the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday night at Philips Arena.
3. Braves lose to Pirates in 10 innings
The Braves (1-5) fell to the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-5 on Sunday in 10 innings. Braves right fielder Nick Markakis scored in the top of the 10th inning off a ground out by catcher Tyler Flowers, giving the Braves a 5-4 lead. In the bottom of the 10th, Pittsburgh's Starling Marte hit a 2-run home run to center field, scoring Adam Frazier and ending the game. Michael Cunningham reports Braves' pitcher RA Dickey's take that the Braves are "sloppy" as the season begins. The Braves play the Miami Marlins on Tuesday night from Marlins Park.
4. Falcons, cornerback Desmond Trufant agree to contract extension
Falcons writer D. Orlando Ledbetter reports Trufant and the Falcons agreed to a 5-year, $69-million contact on Saturday. Trufant suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in November, but still accounted for 31 combined tackles, two sacks and one interception in the 2016 season. Ledbetter also caught up with Trufant after he agreed to terms with the Falcons.
5. Atlanta United, Toronto FC match ends in draw
Atlanta United has not been beaten since losing their first match in early March. The latest match on Saturday night ended in a 2-2 draw at Toronto FC. Doug Roberson breaks down the player ratings, what was learned and what was said after the match. Atlanta United's next match is on Saturday afternoon against Montreal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
