Here’s five things to know this weekend:

1. Falcons rookie mini-camp begins on Friday

With the start of the Atlanta Falcons' rookie mini-camp on Friday, D. Orlando Ledbetter writes about one rookie you should keep your eye on— Central Arkansas cornerback Tyler Williams. Ledbetter reports on his conversation with Williams on the AJC.com.

2. Braves begin series with Marlins

After losing six-straight games, the Atlanta Braves begin a three-game series with the Miami Marlins on Friday night. Friday's game is scheduled to begin at 7:10 p.m. The Braves and Marlins play the second and third games in the series on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.

3. Falcons agree to terms with 2017 draft class

D. Orlando Ledbetter reports the Falcons agreed to terms with Takkarist McKinley, Duke Riley, Brian Hill and Eric Saubert on Thursday evening. Damontae Kazee and Sean Harlow reached deals with the Falcons prior to Thursday.

4. Notre Dame, ACC announced football matchups set for next 20 seasons

All football matchups between Notre Dame and ACC schools through 2037 were announced on Wedneday. Georgia Tech is scheduled to play Notre Dame six times over the next 20 years. The full list of matchups from 2026-2037 can be read on the AJC.com.

5. Predicting Atlanta United's starters

Atlanta United plays the Portland Timbers on Sunday and Doug Roberson predicts Atlanta United's starters. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
