Serena Williams has entered to play in January's Australian Open—her first Grand Slam appearance since giving birth to her first child— according to CNN and Australian Open officials.
The 36-year-old Williams won the Australian Open last year when she competed while approximately eight-weeks pregnant.
Williams gave birth in September to her daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian with husband and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.
Australian Open play begins on Jan. 15.
