Chicago Bears first round Draft pick Roquan Smith left Tuesday's practice due to hamstring tightness, according to a report by the Chicago Tribune.
The rookie linebacker out of Georgia missed all 16 training camp practices due to his contract holdout which was resolved on Aug. 14.
Bears coach Matt Nagy said Smith was removed from practice Tuesday as a precaution and Smith could return to practice Wednesday.
Smith, the 2018 NFL Draft’s eighth overall pick, signed a four-year, $18 million deal with the Bears on Aug. 14.
